A very common question we get from potential new members.
If you are not sure I say try both and see what you feel comfortable with.
Our membership covers ALL classes and you can try your hand at both disciplines.
We offer a FREE week of trial classes to allow new members the opportunity to experience both types of classes.
You can add or drop a discipline as you please. Remember to discuss with your coaches first. Quite often people in the early stage are very hard on themselves. They do not see enough quick progress and make a hasty decision 'Oh this is not for me" after one bad session.
There will be many bad sessions and many good sessions - this is a fact of life good days and bad days. If we gave up every time we had a bad day we would not achieve much would we.
Let your coaches guide you and talk with them if you feel you are struggling. More often than not you are actually doing better than you think. What you perceive to be struggling is just a normal part of the process - we all struggle, we are all uncomfortable.
We soon learn that the challenge is to be comfortable with the uncomfortable whilst remaining calm and working a solution to the problem in front of you.
There is no magic pill, it all takes time. Patience and consistency are your best friends. Turn up regularly and be patient with yourself and you will get better.
In fact you never stop learning or getting better at techniques and ways to utilise them. It is an ongoing process and part of the challenge that keeps us coming back for more.
