Our Cubs and Kids programs teach Kyokushin Karate and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a safe, structured and fun environment. Kids build coordination, focus, respect and resilience while making friends, guided by experienced black belt coaches who have been teaching children in Moorabbin since 1997.

Two programs, one great start

Cubs (ages 4 to 6)

Short, high energy 45 minute classes that introduce the basics of Karate and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu through games and drills. Cubs learn to listen, take turns, follow instructions and move with control.

Kids (ages 7 to 12)

Structured 45 minute classes covering technique, pad work, grappling and light sparring as students progress. Kids grade through the belt system, build real fitness and learn to stand up for themselves the right way. A Friday competition BJJ class is available for kids who want to test themselves.New Paragraph

Karate (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)

  • Cubs (4 to 6 years) 5:00pm to 5:45pm
  • Kids (7 to 12 years) 5:45pm to 6:30pm

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday)

  • Cubs (4 to 6 years) Tuesday and Thursday 5:00pm to 5:45pm
  • Kids (7 to 12 years) Tuesday and Thursday 5:45pm to 6:30pm
  • Cubs Saturday 9:00am to 9:45am
  • Kids Saturday 9:45am to 10:30am

Kids and Teens BJJ competition class (Friday)

  • 6:30pm to 7:30pm
